【陳星瀚／綜合報導】曼菲斯灰熊近期吞下8連敗，球團高層28日馬上有動作，宣布開除總教練菲茲代爾（David Fizdale），改助理教練比克斯塔夫（J.B. Bickerstaff）暫代職務。不過有傳言指出，開除主因疑似與連敗無關，而是與陣中明星中鋒小賈索（Marc Gasol）有心結導致，昔日子弟兵詹姆斯（LeBron James）也出面要求灰熊給真相。

菲茲代爾上季接下灰熊兵符，帶領球隊打出43勝39敗戰績，連續7年殺進季後賽，今年開季前6戰打出5勝1敗，有著絕佳的開場，但自此之後，13場比賽吞下11敗，包括近期的8連敗，一路摔到西區倒數第四。

菲茲代爾走人多少與灰熊戰績有關，但事實上，原因可能更為複雜。前一戰對戰籃網，小賈索第四節坐冷板凳，賽後表達出不滿情緒，巧合的是，隔日菲茲代爾就遭開除，因此，有消息傳出，他與當家中鋒小賈索之間出現嫌隙，才是被解職的主要原因。

菲茲代爾在聯盟累積13年資歷，在解僱消息發佈之後，昔日子弟兵詹姆斯、韋德（Dwyane Wade）、里拉德（Damian Lillard）和卡特（Vince Carter）都發聲力挺，其中詹姆斯更直接在推特上開砲，「我需要真相！感覺起來我的人（菲茲代爾）就像是代罪羔羊。」韋德則表示：「我要個答案！！！WTF」

「經過評估之後，我們決定為了球隊前進，並為球團提供最佳的成功機會，必須要做出改變。」灰熊總經理華勒斯（Chris Wallace）在聲明中表示，「菲茲代爾自豪能夠代表灰熊及曼菲斯這座城市，所以我們也祝福他未來一切順利。」

比克斯塔夫暫代總教練職務，過去他曾任火箭隊助理教練，並於2015-16年球季在總教練麥克海爾（Kevin McHale）開除後，擔任代理總教練工作，而比克斯塔夫的執教戰績為37勝34敗。
